Michael Thornhill Partner michael.thornhill@morsegroup.com.au Michael focuses on creating and implementing business development strategies for clients bearing in mind the taxation, financial and structural aspects of their businesses.

Michael took up the role of Morse Group’s Business Services Manager in 1999 and became a partner of the firm in 2001.

He had first joined Morse Group in 1988 and spent eight years providing taxation, financial and business services to a wide range of small-to-medium businesses. A move to London in 1996 saw him working in the treasury finance section of one of the world’s largest banks and he also spent time with the Shell Corporation in a senior management accounting role. In 1998 Michael returned to Australia, taking up a senior management accounting role with a major telecommunications company in Sydney.

Born and raised in Orange, Michael previously completed his Bachelor of Business degree at Charles Sturt University and has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants since 1996.
