Problem: Access my work computer from home

Sam, a small business owner wanted to be able to access his business computer from home without the need for a large scale system replacement.  Our IT consultants designed and implemented a software based solution that not only provided secure access from home, but from anywhere in the world.  This provided the added bonus of his accountant being allowed to access to his MYOB data and assist with any bookkeeping queries. 

 

Real solution: Sam now has a better work/life balance as he can be home with his family of an evening while still being able to access work information, without going back to the office.

Project:  Remote exchange of documents in a secure environment

A business in a regional location needed to share documents with their head office in Sydney, and their accountant in Blayney.  Documents need to be securely transmitted between the three sites with the ability to have different permission levels in place depending on the end user role.  Our IT consultants designed and implemented a Secure Document Exchange website to provide a solution to this problem.  In addition, the website now acts as a replacement for the physical storage needs thereby saving the company money as they no longer need to store records in physical form.

 

Real outcome: The Company’s capability to perform its work has been increased and costs have been reduced. A win-win situation!

 Problem:  Providing remote access for business partners

John from Dubbo and Susan from the Central Coast decided to become business partners after meeting at an industry conference.  They decided John’s operation would be best suited for running  the administrative and book keeping aspect of the business, however they needed a method for Susan to access the computer system remotely.  After speaking to Morse Consulting Services, our consultants implemented a cost effective remote access solution that met their requirements.

Real solution: John and Susan are now working from common data and business is prospering.

Project: Premises relocation & design of new information technology infrastructure

Nathan decided he needed a bit of a lifestyle change and decided to move to another city.  Nathan also wanted to relocate his specialised business to the new city and spoke to our consultants about designing a purpose built building for his operations.  Our consultants worked with the architects of the new site to design an appropriate Information Technology infrastructure including a computer room, cabling, telephones and internet access.

In addition, when the time came to move to the new site, our consultants relocated all the businesses computer gear and set up the new computer system so Nathan didn’t have to worry about what cable plugged into where.

 

Real outcome: A smooth transition, no loss of income or data and few improvements were incorporated into the new system providing better service into the future.
